Powerdown Energy Management
Intelligent electronics reduce the energy usage to the minimum required for your comfort. The heater and room thermostat work together using a combination of methods including chrono-proportional control to reduce the power input smoothly from 100% to 0%.

High Performance Heating Tablets
The unique solid core has been designed to maximise warmth. With high levels of aluminium oxide the tablets retain heat for long periods of time, which increases levels of radiant heat. Radiant heat works like the sun and keeps you warm at a lower air temperature.

Direct Acting Heating Elements
The heating elements are fully embedded in the bricks to reduce energy waste and maximise lifetime. It ensures super fast, highly efficient heat transfer directly to the solid core and reduces the risk of oxidisation (rust). Non embedded elements heat air before the core and are more likely to fail.

Natural Air Convection System
Precision engineered flutes are shaped to promote quick room heat up naturally. The flutes are 25.2mm deep and shaped to create a vortex as the air rises. This helps the room heat quickly without the cost or stuffiness of fan assistance.

Sticking With Night Storage
Overly Hot Mornings
Night storage heaters are notorious for stuffy mornings. Whilst they try to slow down the rate of heat output across the whole day, the nature of physics states that the bigger the temperature differential the faster the transfer. Thus more heat will be released in the morning when fully charged and this is what leads to overheating.
Chilly Evenings
And conversely if it is a cold day that can lead to the heat all being gone by late afternoon.
Ages To Heat Up If You Are Cold
By design a night storage traps as much heat as it can before releasing it. This means it needs hours to heat up the all the bricks before starting to warm up your room. This often leaves you needing a supplementary heater for those afternoons when the Night Storage runs out of puff.
Wasted Heat When Rooms Are Empty
A night storage heater is not accurately controlled and cannot deliver heat only when needed. If you don’t use your lounge until after work, then the Night Storage Heater will be releasing heat all day that you don’t need and that is electricity you have paid for.
Using The Expensive Economy 7 Rate
A night storage heater will run off of an Economy 7 tariff. These give cheap overnight tariff, but the E7 day rate hours are more expensive than the typical 24 hour tariff, often significantly.
Using Electricity When You Don’t Need it
A night storage heater draws electricity hours before you need it. If you don’t need as much as you thought because your plans change or the day is warmer than expected then you have wasted that stored heat. Even the best High Heat Retention devices lose 55% of the heat the next day, whether you need it or not.

To make your claim submit a copy of your electricity bill no less than 60 days and no more than 90 days after your installation date.
How do we calculate the cost of 2 months heating? We take the number of watts of heating installed. We then assume you will use it for 8 hours per day for 60 days. From our analysis the heater will typically be on for 1/3 of the time during these 8 hours and we multiply that by the typical rate per kwh. We will then refund you that amount or your electricity bill, whichever is the lower amount.
